JTCC player Jennifer Yu won best poem in the 2012 USTA Arthur Ashe contest and she won first prize in her school’s black history poem contest. Her poem, entitled A Man of Many Colors, can be viewed below. She spent the first prize money ($50) to purchase two wooden racquets.
