Coaching Positions
Adult Tennis Manager
The Adult Tennis Manager position is a leadership position responsible for the Adult Tennis Programs overall direction, coordination, operation, and success. The Adult Tennis Manager will ensure the program meets or exceeds financial goals, while providing remarkable leadership in areas of customer service, and member participation.
The Adult Tennis Manager will provide support to a team of 10-12 tennis coaches in offering the complete adult tennis pathway at JTCC. They are responsible for coaching, communication, alignment, to the organization’s expectations. The Adult Tennis Manager also act as a frontline ambassador to provide our members and participants with a great experience while at JTCC.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Reports to the Director of Tennis
- Is responsible for growing the adult program though “Learn Tennis Now” and other programs to add tennis players
- Leads the recruiting effort to grow the game of tennis through the acquisition of new players Creates community relationships and partnerships to grow the game through LTN; spends adequate time in recruiting players in the 6-week period before any session
- Is instrumental in developing the JTCC Adult Tennis Pathway Curriculum
- Fully buys into concept and curriculum, follows curriculum perfectly, leads others by example
- Monitor, print, and ensure daily attendance for all Adult Tennis classes, follows up with participants who have not attended
- Responsible for Adult Programing in club operating software
- Teaches on court in all types of programming with a focus on the Adult Pathway
- Runs or oversees adult events, is present at adult events
Position Requirements
- HS Graduate or Equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience coaching tennis to adults.
- At least one coaching certification and accredited organization, USPTA, PTR, etc…
- Understands Profit and Loss (P&L) statements/revenue/budgets
- Experience providing high-end customer service and managing customer concerns
- Track record of success in a growing adult participation
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sports Management or a related field
- Experience managing $500K+ in revenue
Pay
This is a salaried plus position starting at $70,000.00 and pays up to $95,00.00, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, this role is eligible for bonuses based on performance metrics. JTCC also offers a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k, ST and LT disability, paid vacation and facility privileges.

Full Time Tennis Coach
The Junior Tennis Champions Center is seeking a Full time Tennis Coach to join our world-class team.
The Position:
As an integral part of the tennis team, a Full Time Coach should inspire both members and students both on and off the court.
- Provide tennis lessons for members and guests
- Grow program participation
- Assist in running special events
- Self-produce private and semi-private lessons
- Follow provided curriculum as well as produce lessons plans
- Evaluate players for movement along the JTCC pathway
- Establish good communication with students and parents
- Assist with USTA junior and adult tournaments
- Actively promote club tennis programs and lessons
- Motivating students by providing encouragement and positive feedback
- Providing great experience by caring and connecting with students
Our Tennis Coaches:
- Have experience in Junior Development
- Maintain at least one nationally recognized certification in tennis
- Possess a NTRP rating of 4.5 or higher
- Demonstrate in an enthusiastic, pleasant, and energetic manner
- Enjoy talking about and promoting tennis
- Has the ability to deliver information clearly, concisely, and timely
- Must be able to work weekends
Compensation:

Marketing Internships
Marketing Internship
Our marketing intern will work closely with our team on several projects including:
- Creating print and digital content to market our programs and events via social media, flyers and posters, newsletters, website news stories and blog posts
- Researching current marketing trends our team could utilize to grow our client base
- Collecting and analyzing data about client experience and marketing efforts
- Streamlining processes for large events like US Open ticket sales and campaign fundraisers
- Working in Constant Contact to help our team research and leverage all its capabilities
- Investigating applications such as Hootsuite to determine suitability
- Attending, participating, and documenting (photo and video) programs, clinics, festivals, and events
