The Champs I program is year-round and designed for players who are active tournament participants at the USTA National level (L1 – L5). Players should commit to training a minimum of two days per week, Monday through Friday, on the following schedule:
2:00 – 5:00 pm
4:00 – 7:00 pm
Additionally, players may choose to train on Sunday on the following schedule:
9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Each three-hour training block includes a fitness session.
Each player who trains at least three days a week will create a player development plan with the assistance of a Champs I coach. Meetings with the Champs I coaching staff may be scheduled to discuss player progress.
Students are required to register for a minimum of two days and those enrolled in the Champs I program will receive a complimentary week of summer training equivalent to the number of days enrolled per week during the school year. Any player leaving the JTCC program during the year will not receive complimentary summer training weeks. Players who join the program mid-year will receive summer weeks the member rate. A 60-day notice is required to cancel a high-performance training contract via email.
Registration is open for the 2023-2024 program (September 5 – June 14).
