It was an unforgettable evening at the House of Sweden on May 18 when JTCC honored the legendary dynamic duo and Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Hall of Famers Bob & Mike Bryan at the GEICO Champions Celebration presented by Sandy Spring Bank.
The honorees shared inspiring messages to an energetic crowd of more than 270 JTCC supporters, who raised $450,000 benefitting JTCC’s GEICO Game On! community programs.
The Bryan Brothers mingled with guests enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres during the pre-dinner reception.
The dynamic dinner program was filled with impactful speeches, touching tributes, amusing anecdotes, distinguished awards, and captivating videos that paid homage to Bob & Mike Bryan.
After the program, Bob & Mike Bryan invited JTCC Advisory Board members and former professional players Kathleen Horvath and Richey Reneberg on stage and graciously presented a generous $10,000 donation from their Bryan Bros. Foundation to support JTCC.
JTCC’s GEICO Game On! program provides a pathway for youth who may not otherwise have the opportunity to play tennis, starting as beginners and progressing to earn college scholarships.
