The Champions Program is JTCC’s preeminent, year-round performance-training program for tournament level players ages 8 and older, who are committed to improving their game. The summer sessions run weekly (Monday – Friday) from June 10 through August 30 and consist of drills, match play, fitness and mental training. All JTCC training is provided by Directors, Senior Coaches and Staff Professionals.

Daily fitness instruction includes speed and agility training, tennis-specific footwork exercises, strength and endurance workouts, and both dynamic and static stretching for injury prevention and flexibility. Each off-court training activity and exercise is purposefully designed to improve specific aspects of on-court performance.

Champs 1  (Monday – Friday, 8 am – 3 pm)

The Champions 1 Program is aimed at advanced tournament players who will participate in rigorous on court training and are competing in ITF, National and high level sectional L3 events. 

The Champions summer session consist of drills, match play, fitness and mental training.  All JTCC training is provided by Directors, Senior Coaches and Staff Professionals.  Daily fitness instruction includes speed and agility training, tennis-specific footwork exercises, strength and endurance workouts and both dynamic and static stretching for injury prevention and flexibility.  Each off court training activity and exercise is purposefully designed of improve specific aspects of on-court performance.

Champs 2/Future Champs (Monday – Friday, 11 am – 6 pm)

The Champions 2 Program is aimed at active high school, state, or sectional players in their early stages of their tournament careers that are competing in L4-L6.

The Champions summer session consist of drills, match play, fitness and mental training.  All JTCC training is provided by Directors, Senior Coaches and Staff Professionals.  Daily fitness instruction includes speed and agility training, tennis-specific footwork exercises, strength and endurance workouts and both dynamic and static stretching for injury prevention and flexibility.  Each off court training activity and exercise is purposefully designed of improve specific aspects of on-court performance

Junior Champs (Monday – Friday, 9 am – 4 pm)


“Junior Champs” provides year-round performance training for tournament level players between the ages of 8 and 12. Junior Champs training focuses on stroke production and development with a particular emphasis on technique for the youngest players. All JTCC training is provided by Directors, Senior Coaches and Staff Professionals.

In the summer session, players train on a full size 78-ft. court and use both the yellow and green dot balls. Each day, players drill, work out, and compete with their peers during match play sessions. Typical coaching sessions include high repetition of “drop and feed” ball drills and progressive 10 and Under training.
