Kerrie CartwrightStaff Professional

    Kerrie Cartwright joined JTCC in December 2019 as a Staff Professional. She instructs, educates, and mentors players of all ages.

    As a professional player, Cartwright represented the Bahamas in Fed Cup action, attained a career-high WTA ranking of 587 in doubles and 916 in singles, and won an ITF doubles title.

    On the coaching side, Cartwright has held positions at the Lyford Cay Summer Camp, Tompkins International Tennis Academy, Saddlebrook Tennis Academy, and Tampa Palms Country Club. She was also a player captain for the 2019 Fed Cup Bahamas Team.

     Cartwright graduated from Florida State University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in sports management and a minor in hospitality. She was named to the prestigious All-ACC second team and won the Femina Perfecta Award, honored to one woman from each of Florida State’s athletic teams. Prior to completing her undergraduate studies at Florida State, Cartwright received her associate’s degree from Tyler Junior College, where she helped lead the Apache to the NJCAA National Championship title. She held the top singles and doubles spots at Tyler Junior College.
